Two Footballers Make Verbal Commitments

It’s still a few months before the local football players begin pre-season practices, but this past week two seniors-to-be made verbal commitments to Division I colleges.

According to Cal Sports Digest.Com, Cosumnes Oaks offensive tackle Kameron Schroeder announced Monday that he told Duke University he’ll play for them in 2014. On Saturday Pleasant Grove defensive back and running back Brandon Lewis informed Boise State University he’ll be a future Bronco.

The official National Letter of Intent signings won’t be until Feb. 1, 2014.
